Min Hee-jin’s Side Files Lawsuit Against HYBE and Dispatch “We Hope Serious Lies and Deception Are Exposed”

On Dec 2nd, law firm Shin & Kim stated, “Former CEO Min Hee-jin filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station against former HYBE CEO Park Ji-won and HYBE CCO Park Tae-hee for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (illegal information and communication network intrusion), as well as against two Dispatch reporters for defamation under the same law.”
The firm continued, “Since April, defendants Park Ji-won and Park Tae-hee have actively used private conversations, unlawfully obtained and embellished with false information, to create negative public opinion against former CEO Min. Furthermore, Dispatch reporters, fully aware of these intentions, continued to publish false articles to defame Min Hee-jin deliberately.”

They added, “Through this lawsuit, we hope that a thorough investigation reveals the defendants’ severe lies and deceit, and that they face appropriate legal accountability.”
Earlier that day, Dispatch reported that Min Hee-jin had allegedly interfered in matters such as NewJeans’ surprise YouTube live broadcast, Hanni’s appearance at the National Assembly inspection, and a recent press conference. The outlet also raised suspicions about whether Min Hee-jin had engaged in tampering.
